Standards:

In order to protect Watchman Protective Services, Inc., the U.S.  Government, other Government agencies, and foreign or private sector customers (hereafter collectively referred to as the “client”) and each employee, the following standards for personal conduct and conditions of employment with the company have been established.

Actions which may require discipline or discharge include, but are not limited to, those listed below.

Additionally, the company must require compliance with regulations placed upon it from time to time by its client(s), and/or State and Local authorities.  The company may amend these standards and conditions or establish additional standards and conditions in the future.

The Standards are listed as follows:

Conduct
When dealing with the public and each other, employees shall be patient, courteous and respectful.  Employees shall be tactful in the performance of their duties, shall control their tempers, and exercise patience and discretion.  Employees are expected to conduct themselves professionally in the workplace.  Employees shall conduct their personal and business affairs in a manner that does not discredit or otherwise bring Watchman Protective Services, Inc. into disrepute or compromise their ability to perform duties.  Employees shall conduct themselves at all times, both on and off duty, in such a manner as to reflect most favorably upon the company.

Fraud, Dishonesty, or Abuse
Misuse or abuse of company policies such as excused absence, or sick leave; falsification of time charges or company expense reports; falling to give complete or accurate information for personnel and/or security records; intentionally making false statements, either oral or written about Watchman Protective Services, Inc., client(s), other employees, supervisors, or oneself; falsely claiming personal injury/illness as “work related” in order to obtain worker’s compensation or other employment benefits; misuse of company/client controlled funds.

Misconduct
While on duty or on company/client premises: fighting, threatening, or inflicting bodily harm on another person; gambling; committing immoral acts or using abusive language; displaying or distributing lewd or obscene pictures or other materials, unauthorized possession or movement of company/client property.

Absenteeism
Unauthorized or excessive absence from work or failure to return to work promptly upon expiration of leave or vacation.

Grooming and Dress
You will be oriented with the proper attire for your assignment once hired at Watchman Protective Services, Inc.

Policy Enforcement
Watchman Protective Services, Inc. will take steps to prevent and discourage the use, possession, sale or distribution of stated prohibited items at any time by Watchman Protective Services, Inc. employee(s).  In accordance with this policy, periodic searches, random urinalysis, drug screening or blood or breath testing may be conducted.  Such searches and testing will be performed by Watchman Protective Services, Inc. using qualified contracted agents or qualified named employee(s).  The searches will encompass Watchman Protective Services, Inc. property, vehicles and facilities, including work areas, desks and lockers assigned to employee(s).

No employee has the right to interfere with or object to such searches of Watchman Protective Services, Inc. property based on expectations of privacy or otherwise.  Watchman Protective Services, Inc. reserves the right to search personal property belonging to its employee(s), such as but not limited to, lunch boxes, bags, purses or briefcases if such property is brought onto Watchman Protective Services, Inc. premises or into Watchman Protective Services, Inc. owned vehicles.  If stipulated by contract, the government client reserves the same right.

All employee(s) are expected to cooperate with any investigation regarding this policy.  Failure to cooperate, providing false information, or omitting information may subject any employee to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

Policy Implementation
Watchman Protective Services, Inc. will implement and administer this policy in accordance with all applicable Federal and state statutes or regulations.  Any employee who has questions about the policy’s implementation may contact Watchman Protective Services, Inc. for additional information.
